Sofia University „St. Kliment Ohridski“ closes its doors

Sofia University „St. Kliment Ohridski“ closes its doors on April 4. This was announced by the rector of the Alma Mater Professor Ivan Ilchev to the student radio „Reaction“. This is because the Supreme Administrative Court decided the Botanical garden in Balchik, which is owned by the University, to pass undertutelage of the government.
In the botanical garden in Balchik students have practices and make scientific experiments. „This is the first case in Bulgarian history which would impinge on national institution as the University, “ concluded the rector.
