Bulgaria-China relations boosted with a new chance for development

The traditionally good relations between Bulgaria and China are brought to first-rate partnership and after Bulgaria’s accession in the EU they are given a new chance for development,” said Bulgarian National Assembly Chairperson Tsetska Tsacheva, speaking at a briefing at parliament after meeting with the Chinese parliamentary delegation, which is on a visit to Bulgaria, FOCUS News Agency reporter informs.

The Chinese parliamentary delegation is headed by Deputy Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the Chinese National People’s Congress, Zha Peixin.

“Our guests were impressed by the meetings held in Bulgaria so far, as well as by the modern cultural artefacts and the preservation of the traditions of our folklore. We were unanimous that there are even bigger opportunities for more intensive development between our two countries in the filed of investments, infrastructure, tourism and trade,” Tsacheva remarked.

The Chinese parliamentary delegation is on a visit to Bulgaria at the initiative of the deputy chairperson of the Friendship Group EP – China in the European Parliament.
