International festival of Bulgarian traditional costumes takes place in Jeravna

On the 22, 23 and 24 of August, this year an international Bulgarian traditional costumes festival will take place in Jeravna in the area of Dobromerica.

This is the 7th year in a row for this event and many people from Bulgaria and abroad participate in it. The traditional clothes take people back in time and make the connection between the youth and their parents and grandparents. Many families come to show the Bulgarian traditions to their children and also many foreigners who want to get a touch of the culture visit the happening.
The programme of the festival is very rich and includes many games, dances and social activities.
